Barnie Duncan

Genevieve brought me on board in 2018 to do a short sharp burst of directing. Here is a nice quote from her:

"Barnie came into the creative space with a bag full of tried and tested tricks that flipped my script and transformed the play into a gem in just four days. Barnie took on A Rose among Horns, a solo show, with finesse and tenacity as if it were his own theatrical baby. The six characters within the narrative were interrogated, challenged and refined. The text and actions were scrutinised, fleshed out, then edited scene by scene resulting in a metamorphic upgrade. The working environment Barnie created was a haven of outlandish and bold prepositions, a gag laboratory and a place where I trusted his dramaturgical instincts completely."
